Yih Jeng
Chairman, Social Enterprise Development and Research Center

Mr. Yih Jeng is the Chair of Social Enterprise Development and Research Center since 2012, focusing on theory and practices of social enterprises researches and implementation of social enterprise projects. He also offers counseling and companionship of social enterprises and training program for social enterprises administrators.

In academic discipline, Mr. Yih Jeng has held the position as an Associate Professor in National Sun Yat-Sen University, Finance department since 1991. Interested filed including portfolio management, options markets theory and strategies, investment theory and strategies, derivatives modeling and applications, and special topics on fixed-income securities.

Mr. Yih Jeng’s practical experiences are also the highlights of his personal career. In 2008, Mr. Jeng served as the co-chief investment officer in Prudential Financial Securities Investment Trust, Investment and Research Department, supervising the Asset Allocation Committee, as well as the Quantitative Investment Team of the Fund of Funds managers; and implementing in risk management, benchmarking and performance evaluation of off-shore equity funds. In 2000, Mr. Jeng served as the Vice President in Fuhwa Securities, Derivatives Department, supervising the pricing, funding, trading and risk management of a series of covered warrants, aside from the development of trading systems for index option market making, and risk management.

Mr. Yih Jeng received a Bachelor degree of Science in Mechanical Engineering in National Taiwan University, Taiwan; and a PhD in Finance, University of Iowa, USA.
