Audie Wong is President of Amway China. He is also Executive Vice Chairman of Amway Charity Foundation.
Mr. Audie Wong has served Amway, a US-based multinational direct selling company, for 35 years. He joined Amway Hong Kong in 1981, and was General Manager of Amway Taiwan during 1991-1994. In 1995, he helped opened Amway in Mainland China, and has been head of Amway China ever since. Under his leadership, Amway China became a US$4 billion company in 2014, and the largest affiliate of Amway Corporation.
Amway China is also well-known for its corporate citizenship. It has received the China Charity Award seven times from the Ministry of Civil Affairs, more than any other companies in China. In 2008, it was the only US company in China nominated by the US Ambassador to contest for the Secretary of State Annual Award for Corporate Excellence, and won 11th place among global contestants. In 2011, Amway set up the Amway Charity Foundation. It was the first foreign-invested charity foundation registered directly under the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and is still the only one to date. The Foundation's signature project--Spring Sprout Kitchen Program--was the only China program to be presented on stage at the Clinton Global Initiative in New York in 2013.
Mr. Wong has been Vice Chairman of China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (CAEFI) since 2009. He is a member of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the 12th CPPCC, and a member of the 8th Council of China Overseas Chinese Association.
